October 1–31
Help us fill our shelves while having a little fun along the way! Throughout October, we’re having a friendly competition between our food donors and our monetary donors.
🥫 Food Goal: 1,000 pounds of donated food
💵 Monetary Goal: $1,000 in donations
Which goal will we reach first?
Every can, box, bag, pound, and dollar helps Franklin Community Table Food Pantry prepare for the busy holiday season and keep our shelves stocked for our community.
Pick your team and help us reach the goal!
Empty Bowls is back for the winter months!
Join us for a warm bowl of soup, bread, and good company. Empty Bowls is about more than sharing a meal—it’s a chance for neighbors to come together, visit, connect, and enjoy community fellowship during the colder months.
The meal is offered by donation only. Come as you are, pull up a chair, and share a simple meal with your community.
This Month’s Menu:
Zuppa Toscana, Beef Stew, and Vegetarian
As we look toward the year ahead, Franklin Community Table Food Pantry is working to build a strong foundation so we can continue meeting the growing needs of our community.
Your monetary donation will help us keep our shelves stocked with food, purchase essential supplies and equipment, and continue improving our pantry and the services we provide.
Every gift, no matter the size, helps us prepare for the months ahead and ensures that we can continue being there when someone in our community needs a helping hand.
To make a donation, scan the QR code on the flyer above or visit our Donate page.
Thank you for helping us continue to grow, serve, and support our community.
I especially like this version because it doesn't make the campaign sound like you're simply asking for money—it tells people what their donation makes possible.

Franklin Community Table Food Pantry and the Franklin Town Events Committee are coming together this Christmas to help make the holiday a little brighter for Franklin residents and families.
This year’s Giving Tree is specifically for members of the Franklin community who could use a little extra help during the Christmas season. Gift requests will be placed on our Giving Tree, giving neighbors an opportunity to help make Christmas special for someone right here in our town.
Gift request forms must be returned by December 1.
Please see the flyer above for information about where to pick up and return a request form.
Franklin Community Table Food Pantry is about more than food on the shelves. We work to make help accessible to people in our surrounding communities by offering additional services for those who may need a little extra support.
We offer home delivery for individuals who are homebound or unable to get to the pantry because of transportation, mobility, or other circumstances that make visiting the pantry difficult.
Because our delivery resources are limited, this service is reserved for those who truly need assistance getting food from the pantry to their home.
We may also be able to help outside of regular pantry hours when an urgent need arises.
Need assistance? Please call 207-266-8209.
Each Saturday, Franklin Community Table Food Pantry provides food delivery to residents of the PineBrook elderly community apartments.
For residents who would like to visit the pantry in person but do not have transportation, volunteer transportation may also be available.
To ask about the Saturday delivery or transportation to the pantry, please call 207-266-8209.
Sometimes a family needs something that we don’t currently have available at the pantry. When possible and resources allow, we will do our best to help with essential needs such as diapers, baby formula, pet food, and other basic necessities.
If we don’t have an item available, please ask. We may be able to help obtain it or connect you with another resource that can.
For assistance, please call 207-266-8209.
We understand that not everyone can eat the same foods. If you or someone in your household has special dietary needs, food allergies, or dietary restrictions, please let us know.
While we cannot guarantee that every requested item will be available, we will do our best to provide appropriate options whenever possible.
We understand that sometimes circumstances make it difficult to visit the pantry during our regular open hours.
If you have an urgent need or are unable to come during regular pantry hours, please contact us. When possible, we may be able to arrange another time to assist you.
Please call 207-266-8209 to ask about assistance.
